Chris Morris,  Regional Sales and Marketing Director ELT in Europe, Middle East and Asia.   Chris taught in Turkey and UK  from 1994 to 2001. After time spent as an educational consultant working in UK, Ireland and the former Soviet Union countries  he became UK, Ireland, Scandinavia and CIS manager in 2005. From 2011 to 2013 he was Sales Development Director, ELT, working closely on global training and new digital initiatives.

Blended learning has been one of the most widespread terms in the education world over the last few years. What has been less clear is how to really integrate it into language programmes without disturbing all the good work that goes on in classrooms.

Much of the focus has been on technology, which distracts from the fact that at least as important is what happens in the classroom because of the work done online.

In  this talk Chris will look at how blended learning can benefit both learners and teachers of English, enriching learning, informing teaching and providing flexible solutions to common language learning issues. This will be illustrated with examples from Pearson's MyEnglishLabs
