Teachers are born, not made? Well if they are there is no point in training and Continual professional development! But is it true? How much teaching is ‘art’? Are teaching instincts ‘God-given’ or do they need to be worked on? What part does science (aka research) have to play in our professional lives? And what teaching ‘crafts’ can we learn? These are some of the issues we will discuss in this talk.

19.00 - Авторское музыкальное представление "Shakespeare and Other Folk" 
‘The man that hath no music in himself …… is fit for treasons’ says Lorenzo to his sweetheart in 'The Merchant of Venice'. Shakespeare’s plays are full of music - excerpts from popular songs of his day, fully written lyrics and more.
In his one-man show singer-songwriter Jeremy Harmer will sing and talk about various Shakespeare songs - and show, with a couple of more modern examples, how they fit into a continuing and vibrant folk music tradition.
By turns funny, sad and boisterous, 'Shakespeare and other folk' will give pleasure to admirers of arguably Britain’s greatest writer and music lovers alike.
